New Zealand Birds

There is nothing quite like taking a walk and soaking in the beauty of nature. ​Our forests, oceans, wildlife and native birds are magnificent!

I love all types of birds, however I have a heart for our native and sea birds that are in decline.

​

If I'm lucky and the bird is still enough, I'll do a quick sketch of it, but more often I take photographs as a reference.  Click on each image to ready the story behind each painting.
