Florals

I'm thrilled to share with you my collection of florals which I've created to envelope you in happiness, hope and joy.

Like a poem that whispers to our hearts, my paintings celebrate nature, beauty, and love.​

​

The collection is inspired by my grandmother's garden. She had a large property and grew vegetables almost all year round.  The garden had large plum trees, old fashioned apple trees, and she grew the most exquisite roses, orchids, and lilies.  She supplemented her family's income by selling what she grew to the flower markets in Wellington, which in the day were taken into the city by horse and cart.

I will always remember the joy I found in this garden.  I hope my melody of colour and composition in my paintings also brings you joy.  You will also find a poem for each painting that I wrote during the painting process.
