Environmental Collection

Hi dear friends, some years ago, I painted my first narrative on the environment, which was inspired by Dr. Sylvia Earle and Mission Blue.

This has been my passion project that I starting working on ten years ago (between a full-time job and raising a family).

Slowly, I've built up my collection - and I thought it well overdue to show you the whole shebang!

Many of my paintings are playful and some use satire, irony, symbols, a touch of the absurd! Some paintings are cooler and darker in tone, and others have a vibrant colour palette and illustrative style to show irony.  This enables me to delight, criticize, present uncomfortable truths, evoke empathy, expose vulnerability, and provide a way of documenting this time.

I also believe there is hope.  By seeking out community who support environmental initiatives we can make change. Or if that's not your style, donate a fiver to a cause you care about.
