I have to say this painting is drop dead gorgeous!  
 
There is always something to see each time I see the painting.  Masses of detail with flowers and butterflies - and it has seven layers of oil paint to achieve the colour in it.
 
The painting celebrates the beauty in nature and brings feelings of calmness, hope, happiness, love, and joy.
 
It is complemented by a poem, specifically written for the painting, which weaved its way between my thoughts and the brush.
 
“Dressed in white, you descend
Wings fluttering
A whisper in my ear
A promise to keep.”
 
Measures 914 mm wide x 610 mm high (36 x 24 inches), and is ready to hang.
The painting is stretched on a deep 3.5cm (1.4 inch) depth canvas, which is painted around the sides for continuation of the image to create depth.

Materials: Premium Artist Oil paint and pastel is used to ensure that the colours are clean, bright and light-steadfast. The paints A and AA ratings aid in the longevity of the paints, and will last well over 75 years.  The canvas is made from 100% cotton with a tight, even weave and is coated with a quality gesso primer.
