Story
There is a little pocket of native bush with a river running through that is nestled in Wellington city (New Zealand). With housing encroaching on either side it is a refuge for many native birds including the little Grey Warbler/ Riroriro. These birds are shy, and I managed to capture a picture of one little bird after spending a good 30 minutes camouflaged in the trees. They are very small birds, and have a very fast wing beat, where they appear to hover whilst foraging for insects. They have a lovely light grey underbelly that appeared almost a lemon yellow from surrounding leaves and sun. They are so gorgeous!
Measures 21cm square (8.26 x 8.26") which includes a 3cm border for framing purposes . The artwork comes unframed, and will arrive in an acid free enclosure.
