This original paintings speak quietly to the people in our lives who offer friendship, appreciation, and courage. 
 
Each heart has been a labour of love... I have sanded, undercoated (x2), drilled holes, and selected beautiful ribbons that from a tactile perspective, I didn't want to let go of...
I played with my designs, often reworking them so that they grew into something beautiful...
applied three coats of oil paint to get the deep luscious colours...
and UV coated the hearts for protection.
 
The name of each painting is written on the back of the heart, and signed by myself.
