“Together” NZ Kereru . This painting was created from the reference photo offered by Lyn Moe (thank you!). I couldn't resist painting this scene of three plump Kereru weighing down the tree.
I think they look quite funny. They look to be fat on berries, and looking for more. I do love our New Zealand birds.

Materials: Premium Winsor & Newton Artist oil paint . The paints A and AA ratings aid in the longevity of the paints, and will last well over 75 years. The canvas is made from 100% cotton with a tight, even weave and is coated with a quality gesso primer.
Measures 61cm x 45cm x 3.5cm deep (30 x 20), and is ready to hang.The painting comes without a frame on a deep 3.5cm (1.4 inch) depth canvas, which is painted around the sides for continuation of the image which creates depth.
